UJI

is the granddaughter of an old-school tailor and the daughter of a feminist fashion designer.

She often says, "Fine taste is my family heirloom." She puts detail and style into everything she does.

After an early education at her mother’s atelier, a detour in Computer Science followed. She returned to fashion and studied International Fashion Design at Polimoda in Florence and at FIT in New York. She has worked on various New York Fashion Weeks since.

UJI and fuses fashion and feminism in new ways and promotes intimacy in our relationship with our clothing and with each other.

Music is her quiet passion. She currently sings soprano in the West Village Chorale, can never say no to opera invitations and has her rock band name.
